WOODEN EXTENTION to a Mountain cottage
STARÝ SMOKOVEC - TATRA MOUNTAINS Slovak Republic
This project was an extension to an existing high mountain cottage in Starý Smokovec - Tatra Mountain Region in Slovakia. The intention was to create a functional multi-purpose shed serving for outdoor activities, occasional car park, tool storage, and as a guest room extension.
The project was carried away with only wooden structures due to the local architecture realm and with the focus on high mountain season including a high volume of snow in the winter. The project is in the proposal stage since 2014.
