NURSERY ROOM

This project was focused on budget interior design with challenging tasks to retrofit the old Japanese room, used as a guest room, and partial storage into a nursery room.
The overall interior design included most of the original furniture and materials and highlighted the original Japanese style elements as sliding wooden door entrance wall, wooden edge lining, or elevated wooden floor. New elements were added e.g. an adjustable table for all the nursery equipment, sanitation and food preparation, a Tatami bed serving as a place for sleep and play, and a Baby bed with alternative arrangements along with a retrofitted AC unit.
